Proof-reading of
existing English texts:
Proof-reading (1) ensures the general quality through checking:
- spelling
(in particular British English)
- accuracy
- completeness
- logic
- syntax, etc.
Proof-reading (2) double-checks the quality through
checking:
- language use and
structure
- completeness of
text
- translation/ new version back to
original
- typography
- accuracy of picture titles, graphics, contents tables, page
numbers, etc.

applicable, supplements will be quoted in advance. Regular clients
benefit from reduced supplements.

- All prices are exclusive of VAT.
These services are not currently subject to VAT - this may however change
in the future.
- Express postage,
courriers, notarial attestations, etc. will be charged as a supplement.
- Attestation of the
translated text will be carried out where necesary. Fees charged by
the local authority for attestations will be passed on to the client plus a one-off charge
of 20.00 CHF for collecting the attestation.
- Work is normally
carried out at Language Factory. If required, the work can be carried
out on site. Travel costs to be discussed at the time.
- Standard delivery
by e-mail, although work can also be delivered by fax or on disc/ as hard-copy by post.
- Direct overwriting of existing
data in all commonly used PC programmes ensures the same presentation in
the final version as in the original.
